The Werkraumhaus was built in the municipality of Andelsbuch in the Vorarlberg as work and exhibition hall.
Based on the operational description and the design for a slim HVAC system, a concept for an energy-saving building operation should be developed and presented. For the detailed design, the impact of various measures on energy demand were roughly examined and presented. For reasons of climate protection and operation costs, manual and passive measures for the winter and summer insulation have been optimized, and the usability of renewable energy sources has been examined.
